Wolfeboro sits between two beautiful lakes — Lake Winnipesaukee and Lake Wentworth — and offers four public beaches that range from a state-managed facility with full amenities to quiet town beaches where you can stake out your own stretch of sand. Whether you want a lifeguarded swimming area for the family, a launch point for paddling, or just a shady spot to read by the water, there's a beach for you.
Town beaches are free for Wolfeboro residents with a beach sticker. Visitors can access Wentworth State Beach for a small admission fee, and some town beaches offer daily passes during the summer season.
