A Lakes Region Gallery Since 1975
The Art Place is a traditional fine-arts gallery in the center of Wolfeboro. It has been in the Lakes Region since 1975 and stays open year-round. The work is local and regional: watercolor, oil, acrylic, photography, and limited-edition prints. In summer, guest and featured-artist openings are a regular reason to stop in.
Custom matting and framing are done on the premises. If you want a lake painting to take home, or a frame for something you already have, this is the North Main Street stop. Kalled Gallery and The Country Bookseller are a short walk up the same street.
