Pick Your Own on Pleasant Valley Road
DeVylder Farm is a family orchard and farm stand on Pleasant Valley Road, a short drive from downtown Wolfeboro. In fall the trees are heavy with apples, and the stand fills with cider, pies, and whatever else came in that week.
This is the kind of stop locals make on a Saturday. You pick a bag of apples, grab cider, and maybe take home mums or a pumpkin for the porch. Call or check their Facebook page before you go. What's picking and when they open changes with the season.
What's in Season
- Pick-Your-Own Apples - Macintosh, Macoun, and Empire when the orchard is open for picking
- Apple Cider - Pressed on the farm
- Blueberries and Peaches - Summer fruit when the crop is in
- Farm Stand Produce - Native vegetables and whatever is ripe that week
- Flowers and Plants - Annuals, perennials, herbs, and fall mums
- Pumpkins and Baked Goods - Pies and other bakery items at the stand
Planning Your Visit
- Seasonal hours - The farm is not a year-round shop. Call or check Facebook for current hours and what's picking
- Family outing - An easy stop with kids, with room to walk the orchard when picking is open
- Pair it with town - After the farm, the Thursday Farmers Market downtown is a good same-day complement
